The Annapurna Circuit Trek, also known as the Annapurna Round Trek, is a challenging and strenuous adventure, demanding participants to be in excellent health and physical fitness. The trek takes you through remote alpine regions, sometimes reaching altitudes of up to 5,500 meters, including high pass crossings. Since it opened to foreign trekkers in 1977, this trek has gained a reputation as one of the most spectacular and diverse walks in the world. Throughout the Annapurna Circuit, trekkers are rewarded with stunning views of the Himalayas and Nepal’s picturesque landscapes. Additionally, the trek offers a chance to immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the local Manangis, Gurungs, Poons, and Magar communities. The trek provides close-up views of several iconic peaks, including Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Tukuche Peak (6,920m), Nilgiri North (7,061m), Nilgiri South (6,839m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Fishtail (6,993m), Gangapurna, Annapurna South (7,647m), Hiunchuli, Annapurna IV (7,525m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Lamjung Himal (6,988m), Manaslu (8,156m), and many other trekking peaks. The journey concludes with a breathtaking sunrise view from Poonhill at 3,210 meters.
